Martin Doubravský, Jablonec nad Nisou

Bringing calm, safety, and warm strength.

Craniosacral therapy in Jablonec nad Nisou — gentle, deep work with the body and nervous system.

For people who've been pushing too hard for too long.

Who this is for

Maybe something here will stop you.

Mental overload

Your head won't quiet down. You wake up tired. Focus is work, decisions hurt.

Stress and inner tension

Your body can't let go. Sleep doesn't bring relief. You're looking for a way to finally slow down.

Chronic fatigue and burnout

You've been running on empty for too long — at work, at home, caring for others. Body and soul are asking for a pause.

Pain, blocks, old injuries

Migraines, back pain, tension in the body and old injuries. The body remembers even what you'd rather let go of.

You don't have to name it all. It's enough that your body says: enough.

What is craniosacral therapy

A gentle manual method working with the natural mobility of the skull, spine, sacrum, and the fluids inside the central nervous system.

It's not a massage. It's not physiotherapy. Through gentle touch with the hands, it helps the nervous system release long-held tension.

“The body reorganizes itself when it feels safe.”
— Stephen Porges, neuroscientist, author of polyvagal theory
“Cranio is like a charging station.”
— one of my clients

What to expect

What does it look like?

You lie down. Fully clothed. On a soft table in a quiet attic space in Jablonec. I place my hands. Gently. Usually on the head, spine, feet — but it depends on what your body needs right now. I don't push. I don't fix. I listen. Your body knows what it needs to release. I just help it find the way.

How long?

About 60–80 minutes. No rush.

What to wear?

Comfortable clothes. That's it.

What will I feel?

Everyone's different. Some fall asleep. Some feel warmth, tingling, lightness. Some cry. Some feel nothing — and notice the change days later. It's all okay.

Does it hurt?

No. It's gentle. So gentle that some people wonder if anything's happening at all. And then something happens.

“When you help your body feel safe, your mind begins to feel safe too.”
— Bessel van der Kolk, psychiatrist, author of The Body Keeps the Score

My story

I know what it’s like when work and a relationship fall apart at the same time and you lose yourself. A few years ago I was running flat out as Head of Design — for international startups, large global companies — until I burned out and hit rock bottom. In the middle of it all, I started studying craniosacral therapy.

Not because I wanted to be a therapist. But because I needed to find my way back to myself. And I did.

Three years of professional trauma-informed training in biodynamic craniosacral therapy with the Swiss-based International Institute for Craniosacral Balancing® with teachers Bhadrena Tschumi (MA, RCST, BCST) and Kavi A. Gemin (Osteopath, RCST, BCST, SEP) — the strictest standard of education in the field. Anatomy, embryology, physiology, working with trauma. This is not a weekend course.

On top of that: Men’s Training (2021–22), trauma-informed training in facilitation of transparent communication (2022–23), and a certified massage course (2023).

500+Teaching hoursTheory, embryology, anatomy, physiology, neurology, trauma-informed work.
400+Practice & self-study hoursSupervised practice and deep immersion into biodynamics.
300+Client sessionsSafe, trauma-informed craniosacral sessions.

I don’t call myself a guru. I call myself someone who knows what it’s like to hit rock bottom — and who learned to be with another person in what hurts. No advice. No solutions. Just hands, and my full presence.

“Being truly present with another person is one of the most precious gifts you can offer.”
— Thomas Hübl, PhD, author of Attuned

This is just one of the things I do. I still love business, thanks to AI I’ve returned to the online world, I lead men’s circles (zapojenymuz.cz), dream up audio fairy tales Zvědavé duše (zvedavaduse.cz), and create things like NeuroKompas.cz.

If you're looking for someone who'll give you their full presence — come.

What people say

Martin is one of the best therapists I know. You simply want to experience his safe space. The therapeutic quality, support, and the safe field he creates can't be replaced. My heartfelt recommendation.

Ilona Kovárníková, craniosacral therapist

I've had 6 sessions and plan to go for more. I don't know how it works, but after therapy I always feel relaxed and aligned. It's as if Martin helped align my intention with my soul.

Jaroslav Duba

A session with Martin is an experience I'll remember for a long time. His approach, perspective, and genuine interest fill me with trust and deep calm. Highly recommend.

Petr Hrdina, guide and lecturer

Right after the first treatment I felt a release and a unification of body and soul. I recommend it to everyone!

Veronika Veith, psychotherapist and psychologist

I also brought my son to see Martin. He's 5 and trusted Martin right away, let him touch him. And he's looking forward to next time. So am I.

Honza Čermák, facilitator of men's and mixed circles

Cranio with Martin is about safety, connection, release. I'd never been to cranio before and Martin is the first person it let me go to. Looking forward to the next visit.

Lucie Kriele, woman, mom, partner

With every treatment I experience deep relaxation of body and mind. I always leave feeling recharged and inwardly calm. I'm happy to keep coming back.
